Hannah is a graduate student in the Applied Developmental Psychology program. She has a background in biology and sociology. Her current interests include investigating the role of teacher affective support and autonomy supportive practices in shaping student learning and student engagement as well as understanding student engagement within the classroom, particularly in math and science classes. Prior to graduate school, Hannah served 2 years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. There, she worked as an English teacher and an HIV/AIDS counselor for adolescents. Hannah enjoys eating, doing arts/crafts, hiking, learning languages, and trying new things.
